Almost There: 'Rocky Mountain High' DeSanctis on the Brink of Making ADT History
Briana DeSanctis, close to being the first woman to solo the 6,800-mile American Discovery Trail, reflects on her journey and shares her apprehensions about the final 200 miles, including her recent talk at the LA Adventurers Club.
Briana "Rocky Mountain High" DeSanctis is close to becoming the first woman to complete the entire 6,800-mile American Discovery Trail solo. For the last two years, she has journeyed from Delaware to California, a testament to perseverance and the spirit of exploration.
But with just 200 miles left, it is anything but a sprint to the finish. In an interview with a television station in her home state of Maine last month, Rocky explains why she is apprehensive about finishing.
To that end, last week, after reaching Sacramento, Rocky took a break, jumped on a red-eye Greyhound Bus, and headed south for a live appearance on the Adventurers Club of Los Angeles livestream.
🥾🥾 Rocky should finish in about two to three weeks – or maybe longer. 🤷♀️
